1. Letter Knowledge: The Alphabet and Beyond

Understanding that each letter has a name and a specific sound is a fundamental step in learning to read. Our program:

• Introduces children to the alphabet in fun and interactive ways.

• Helps them recognize and differentiate between letters.

• Teaches the connection between letters and sounds.

2. Phonics: Decoding the Language

Phonics instruction teaches children how to convert written letters (or groups of letters) into sounds, and then blend these sounds to form words. Our program:

• Uses engaging activities to teach letter-sound correspondences.

• Helps children apply these skills to read simple words and sentences.

3. Phonemic Awareness: Playing with Sounds

Phonemic awareness is the ability to hear, identify, and manipulate individual sounds (phonemes) in spoken words. Our program:

• Incorporates listening activities that focus on rhymes, syllables, and starting and ending sounds.

• Develops skills essential for reading, like blending sounds to make words and breaking words into individual sounds.
