MATH INTERVENTION
Our math instruction is specifically designed to support students who are not meeting grade-level expectations, including those with math-related learning disabilities, such as dyscalculia, or who simply need extra help. The core of our approach is the ability to imagine and verbalize the underlying concepts in mathematical processes.
We integrate these concepts into language, ensuring that students can articulate their understanding of math in a way that connects directly to computation and problem-solving. This integration allows students to see math not just as a series of numbers and equations but as a language they can speak and understand.
Our instruction emphasizes both mathematical reasoning and computation. We believe that by strengthening a student's ability to reason through problems, they gain confidence and competence in their computational skills. By fostering a deep understanding of the concepts behind the math, we help students build a solid foundation that supports their growth and success in mathematics.
